Privacy door levers are designed for use in rooms like bathrooms or bedrooms where a locking function is needed from the inside of the room. As required all our privacy sets include an emergency release from the outside of the room.
Our privacy door knob sets comes as a pair of handles plus the spindle (the square rod that passes from one handle to the other) and screws. It also includes the privacy snib which has a thumb turn on one side of the door and an emergency release on the other.
The back plate is supplied with a round hole to accept the privacy snib.
Internal Mechanisms (Tube Latches & Mortice Locks) to operate this handle set are sold separately.
